MS Highlights This Week - Dec 2-6
December Happenings
With the Christmas Bazaar and Tree Lighting ceremony last weekend, we have officially entered the Christmas holiday season. This month is loaded with festivities, so we hope you mark your calendars for all of the events.
Grade 5-8 Christmas Band Concert Kicks Off Season
Concordia Band conductors, Ms. Martha Seibel, from Elementary School, and Mr. Mike Shirk, from Middle School, led several groups of talented musicians in displaying their music skills while also raising the Christmas spirits. The four bands performed a mixture of holiday classics and newer holiday arrangements.

The Christmas concert series continues next week with the Grade 5-8 Christmas Strings concert on Tuesday, December 10th, and the Grade 5-8 Christmas Choir concert on Thursday, December 12th.
MS Drama Brings on the Dickens
Mr. Danny and his enthusiastic drama cast and crew have been hard at work for the past few months in preparing to deliver a Christmas holiday classic, “A Christmas Carol” by Charles Dickens. The holiday classic receives a new spin, as the Middle Schoolers put their own special touch on the performance.

Tickets go on sale Monday, December 9th, and are available in the PC Commons.
Performances: Tuesday, December 17 and Wednesday, December 18, 6:00-7:30 p.m., Rittmann Theater
MS Counselors Connect with Parents
The final MS Parent Coffee of 2024 will take place at 8:30 a.m. on December 12th, in the PC Meeting Room (P102). The counselors will invite parents to lead the discussion with the questions that are the most relevant to them.
December 20th: Full Day of Holiday Events
Our final school day of the month will be Friday, December 20th. This will be an early release day, with students being dismissed at 11:30 a.m.
The day will start with an all-school assembly at 8:30 a.m. in the PC Gym. Parents are welcome to join this event. We will have Christmas music, performances, and speeches to celebrate the end of 2024 and the Christmas season. Please join us!
The grade levels will also be holding their Christmas celebrations this morning. Each grade level will celebrate differently. Please contact the PSO grade level representative for details and how you can support.
