When Sophie Ideker graduated from Concordia Shanghai in 2017, she was not yet aware of how much her time in AL Epidemiology, an elective course she took in high school, would influence her future career path.
Alumni
If you have attended Concordia International School Shanghai, worked at Concordia, or have a child who was a student at Concordia, you are a Phoenix for life!
Greetings, Concordia Alumni!
At Concordia, we use the term “alumni” broadly; therefore, we include anyone who has had a significant connection to our school, including graduates, parents of graduates, and all former Concordia parents, students and faculty.
As you may have guessed, this makes for a vast alumni network that spans the globe. This affords many opportunities to make further connections with former members possible no matter where you’ve ended up!
We want to hear from you to learn more about what you’ve been up to. We would love to share your updates and stories with our current school community as well as other members of our alumni network. We would also very much like to inform you of community and school events that will allow to stay connected.
If you would like to get involved with our network, there are a few options available, including volunteering to host an alumni event in your city or engaging with the school and alumni community as a class rep. We hope these opportunities will facilitate an easier means for meetups and reunions in the future.
If you are interested in sharing updates or volunteering, please contact our Alumni Relations Coordinator, Irrey Zhang at alumni@concordiashanghai.org.

- Serving as a touchstone for organizing class reunions/gatherings or finding someone who can help
- Sharing alumni updates for the Alumni Newsletter or The Phoenix Connections
- Attending reunions and Concordia-sponsored events in your area
- Co-hosting an alumni event
- Getting involved as a mentor or speaker for current students
- Visiting the school when in Shanghai
