Tuition, Fees, and Payments

2024-2025 School Year

All fees are listed in Chinese Renminbi (RMB).

Application Fee

Each applicant must pay the application fee of 2,500 RMB which is non-refundable.

One-Time Fees: New Students Only

Capital Fee of 25,000 RMB - The mandatory capital fee is dedicated to capital purchases, building repairs and maintenance costs for school facilities and secures placement at Concordia. This non-refundable capital fee will be billed upon acceptance of the admissions offer and is due within one week.

ELL Fee of 20,000 RMB - Since the 2018-2019 school year, all new students entering Concordia in grades Kindergarten-Grade 12 who require additional ELL support will be charged a one-time fee.

Grade 6 - 12 Laptop Cost of 8,000 RMB (approximate) - Parents of students new to middle or high school are responsible to provide a recent model Apple laptop for dedicated use by their student at school on a daily basis

Payment Instructions

There are a number of convenient ways to pay tuition and fees: via cash, check or wire transfer. Please note, we are unable to accept credit card payments. All payments in person may be made at the Business Office located on the third floor of the Upper building above the Welcome Center.

All tuition and fees are listed in Chinese Renminbi (RMB).

For payments in U.S. Dollars (USD), Concordia sets its exchange rate on the first day of every month based on the published exchange rate at that time. Before sending payment in U.S. Dollars, please email finance@concordiashanghai.org or call (86 21) 5899-0380 ext. 1011 to let them know to expect your U.S. Dollar funds.
