APAC Season 1 Tournaments - October 22 - 26
Our Season 1 APAC Teams will be traveling from October 22nd to 26th. All students are expected to be in communication with teachers about their project and assessment submission during these travel dates. We wish our students success as they travel and represent Concordia!
Save the Date! Parent Teacher Conferences on October 30 and 31st.
We will be holding our Fall Parent Teacher Conferences on October 30 and 31st. Watch for emails regarding these dates and how to register for conferences this year. We are excited to share our experiences with your about your children. If you have any questions, please reach out to the HS Office for assistance.
Attendance Emails Starting
We are starting to share attendance emails with parents for their children. We have been trialing this with some students and will be emailing parents on Thursday evenings about students current attendance. This will occur at 5 and 7 absences in a class and at 10 and 15 tardies for the semester. This is to better inform parents about the attendance, and to support our student particiapteion at school. This are informational emails, which may be followed by further communication from the school as needed. Please feel free to reach out to Assistant Principal Everett Hill if you have any questions.
Updates and Reminders
It is that time of year when all of our students bring their Apple laptops, Black Backpacks, Concordia Blue Hoodies, and Black instrument cases to school. We are starting to see students who are having items "stolen" or "taken". In most cases, these items are simply picked up by another student accidentally, thinking that the Concordia Hoodie was theirs. We encourage students to put their name on their items, or put something on their bag or case that is identifiable as theirs.
In the event that you do have an item misplaced, please have your child backtrack to the last places they had. Check in our lost and found areas and speak with teachers where they had the item. If they are unable to find it, please contact Everett Hill, Assistant Principal at: everett.hill@concordiashanghai.org for assistance.
