Thankful Hearts, Connected Community
PK/PS Service-Learning Project
As part of our Thanksgiving activities, the Preschool and Prekindergarten children prepared appreciation cards for our ayis and security guards. They decorated the cards with drawings and dot markers, and some even added their own heartfelt words. This service-learning activity helped the children recognize the importance of showing gratitude and caring for the people who support our school community every day. A big ‘thank you’ to all our ayis and guards for all their hard work in keeping our school clean and safe.

Join Us for a Special Parent Connect
We are excited to invite all Early Childhood parents to our upcoming Parent Connect, where we will be joined by Kirsty Liljegren, an Early Learning expert with decades of experience in Reggio-inspired education. This is a wonderful opportunity to deepen your understanding of the Reggio approach and how it shapes the learning experiences your children enjoy every day at Concordia.

Picture Day Next week
Thursday, November 27 will be the EC Photo Day, and we can’t wait to capture those bright smiles! Please have your child come dressed and ready for pictures.
A few helpful reminders:
✨ Please avoid grey clothing, as it blends into the backdrop.
✨ Kindly do not send children in costumes (no Ultraman, princess outfits, or character dress-up).
✨ Simple, comfortable clothing that your child feels confident in is perfect!
Please refer to the email for more information. Thank you for helping us make Photo Day smooth and successful.
Parent Tip of the Week
Children love feeling included, and even small opportunities, like decorating a tree or choosing ornaments which helps them build creativity, confidence, and a sense of belonging. This week, try involving your child in a holiday fun by adding their own special touch to our EC Christmas tree. See the flyer below.
