3. PSO Presents a Thanksgiving Love Feast for Faculty and Staff
Thanksgiving is a cherished holiday for our North American faculty and staff, much like Chinese New Year is for our local community. It is a season for reuniting with family and for reflecting on the things we hold dear.
Recognizing that many of our faculty and staff are spending this beloved holiday far from home and family, the PSO sought to honor their sacrifices with a taste of home. The result was a heartfelt Thanksgiving "Love Feast”, prepared for our school-wide faculty and staff. We are deeply grateful to the various cultural groups and dedicated parent volunteers who rose to the occasion. They generously shared their time and talents, contributing delicious dishes from their home regions to show their love and appreciation for our Concordia family.
On Monday, November 24th, Wittenberg Hall was magically transformed from a conference space into a warm, family gathering place, adorned with beautiful, rustic floral arrangements and digital hearths. For a few wonderful hours, we served and shared a Thanksgiving meal, celebrating the community that makes Concordia so special.
We are continually grateful for our wonderful faculty, staff, and parents—you are the heart of Concordia and models of humility and service for our children.

Our wonderful Korean parent community treated the Class of 2026 to an incredible spread this week, filling the air with delicious aromas and even bigger smiles. The seniors were delighted with a authentic menu of tteokbokki, eomuk-tang (fish cake soup), and homemade cookies.
It was a huge hit, with many students coming back for seconds and even thirds! The fun didn't stop there! The joyful atmosphere and tasty food even drew in some hungry visitors from other grade levels, turning the treat into a wonderful, school-wide moment.
A huge thank you to our amazing Korean senior moms for their generosity and hard work in serving our seniors. We are so grateful for your support of the Class of 2026!
5. Thanksgiving Apple Crumble Baking
Last Sunday afternoon, after the crowds from the Christmas Bazaar had cleared, the ovens warmed the air and the scent of buttery cinnamon and sugar wafted through PC Commons.
Parent volunteers from multiple divisions gathered to bake apple crumble, a famous North American dessert, for the PSO Thanksgiving Love Feast for Faculty and Staff. Using a recipe passed down from a beloved former Concordia parent, the moms diced apples and mixed batter together, forging new friendships and deepening connections.
The end result was a delicious hit at the Thanksgiving Luncheon.
