A Warm Welcome Back
Welcome 2026
As we are finishing the first semester and welcome the new year 2026, we’re so happy to have our families back together on campus. Our students return re-energized and ready to deepen their learning, grow in independence, and continue maturing as confident members of our community.
Looking Back
As we return to school, we are taking a moment to look back at all the fun and meaningful moments we shared together during Christmas Around the World and Christmas classroom parties. From festive songs and creative activities to special treats and time together, these celebrations reminds us that being together, caring for one another, and sharing joy is what makes the season truly special. Thank you to our families for your support in making these moments come together.
Parent Tip of the Week: Kindness Starts at Home
“The best thing you can do to make the world a better place is to create a culture of kindness in your own home.”
— Catherine Newman
Kindness begins with what children see and hear every day. This week, try naming kind moments out loud. For example: “Did you notice how the lady at the coffee shop greeted us? That was very kind.”
Or thank your partner and include the word kind: “Thank you for helping me fix my phone—that was very kind.”
This is especially powerful when we notice and describe children’s actions:
“That was kind when you shared,” or “I noticed how gently you spoke—that is being kind.”
Children learn kindness first by watching, listening, and experiencing it at home.
