Spring Festival Couplets Workshop

On Wednesday, our school's Chinese community hosted a vibrant event in joyful anticipation of the upcoming Lunar New Year. The centerpiece of the celebration was a hands-on Chinese calligraphy workshop, where participants of all ages learned the traditional art of writing Spring Festival couplets, known as 春联 (chūnlián). The room was filled with festive energy as attendees practiced wielding brushes and ink, creating their own personalized couplets wishing for good fortune, health, and prosperity for the new year.

The event served as both a meaningful cultural exchange and a warm, communal gathering, successfully strengthening bonds within the community while honoring a beloved Lunar New Year tradition.
