Two ways to access Seesaw away from school
PARENTS
Start by tapping
To set up and begin accessing Seesaw as a family member, you will need a Family Invite from your teacher.
The invite includes instructions for connecting to your child’s learning journal. Family Access allows Parents to:
- see only their child’s activity responses or work posted to their child’s journal.
- only see work that has been “approved” by the teacher.
- see announcements shared with families in their Inbox.
- reply to announcements or message the teacher directly.
Parents cannot...
- view activities posted by the teacher
- see activities assigned or post to student journal.
STUDENTS

To login to the class app as a student you need a Home Learning Code from your teacher.
The home learning code includes instructions for logging in to a student’s account on Seesaw. The home learning code allows students to:
- access ALL their Seesaw classes.
- see ONLY their work or items posted by the teacher to the whole class.
- respond to activities posted by the teacher.
- post to their journal in any class, or comment on their own work.
- see announcements shared with students in the Inbox.
