Grade 8 STEM launched with a "Belong-Bot" Challenge centered around the Word of the Year “Belong”. Students were tasked to design and create a “Bot” within time and material constraints---a project connecting the Engineering Design Process with human-centered design. 

Using low-tech materials like cardboard and tape, students designed and built unique "Belong-Bots"—creations designed purely to foster inclusion, welcome others, and bring joy to our class.
