The High School will once again post community updates bi-weekly this year for our parents. These updates will be starting soon. Watch this space for more information.
Upcoming Dates and Events
Our first month of school has been packed with events. Athletic competitions, community events, assemblies and parent connects have filled our calendars. We hope that you are able to attend the events and activities on campus to support our school community. We have plenty more happening in the weeks to come.
We hope you are able to join us for the first Phoenix Friday of the school year on Friday, August 28th. This will start with the Pep Rally in the PC Gym followed by our matches starting at 4;15 pm. Come out and support our student athletes.

· October 7th: Understanding MAP: A Parent Workshop by Director of Curriculum Carrie Bennett and the Curriculum Leadership Team
· October 9th: Global Seal of Biliteracy Due Date
· October 11th: University Fair at Concordia
· October 12 and 13th: APAC Season 1 Cross Country in Shanghai
· October 15 to 17th: APAC Season 1 Volleyball at Concordia
· October 29 to 30th: Parent Teacher Conferences

September and October Updates
TrIBES are right around the corner followed by our Fall Break. Make sure you are keeping up on the email for your students as the school needs travel documents for these trips.
As we enter October, we will once again be hosting the University Fair on campus. We are proud to be able to bring so many good school to our campus to share their university with our students. Please make sure to attend this event to learn more about university application around the world. The week of October 12 - 17th is our Season 1 APAC and JPAC tournament week. We will have Cross Country competing near us in Shanghai and on campus on October 12th and 13th. The APAC Volleyball will compete on campus from Thursday, Oct. 15th to 17th. Come out and support these events.
We round out the month of October with our Parent Teacher Conferences where we will have the opportunity to speak with our teachers about the work you children are doing in their classroom. Please join us on October 29th and 30th for these conferences.
TrIBES Reminders
TrIBES is an integral part of our education program at Concordia. Students will experience service, activity, and culture on these trips. We look forward to travelling and experiencing these trips with your children. Teaches will communicate with parents via WeChat to update you about the trips. This should include pictures and a description of the activity for the day. If parents have a concern or need to communicate wiht the groups, please email Ms. Summer Yu in the activities office and she will communicate with the trip leaders.
Updates and Reminders
Parents are reminded to wear their yellow lanyards and school ID when on campus to identify yourself as a parent at Concordia.
As a reminder about school uniforms. Students are permitted to wear navy, khaki, or plaid shorts, pants, or skorts Monday to Friday. On Friday, they may also wear blue jeans. Students may not wear jeans shorts. Student shorts and skorts are expected to come to mid-thigh in length.
