Week 33: Highlights
End of Year Message from Our ES Principals - Ms De Koker & Ms Katina Seymour

ES Final Assembly
Last Friday, Dr Mizel reminded us of the Word of the Year and how all year long we have been igniting the Fruit of the Spirit - Joy, Kindness, Wisdom, Self-Contorl, Gratitude, Love, and Peace. It was a great message to take with all of us as we prepare for our well deserved summer vacation. We also gave special recognition and love to all of the students and colleagues who are leaving us for new places and adventures. We will miss them and hope to see them in the future. Enjoy highlights from our final celebation assembly.

G5 Students Make A Special Presentation to CWEF
This week, our G5 students donated all of the money they made at their recent Phoenix Fair to the Concordia Welfare and Education Foundation. CWEF equips young people from disadvantaged backgrounds to become servant leaders who will strengthen their own communities. The organization work together with local partners in China and Cambodia, and focuses on several key areas — improving Access to Quality Education for children from low-income families, providing mental health support for Migrant and Left-Behind Children, and expanding access to Clean Water & Health Training. Our G5 teachers and students were happy to honor our mission of service, care and love to those in our community.

G3 Completes their Journey Through Ancient Civilizations
What a fantastic end to weeks of learning, connecting, and reinacting of past civilizations. Our students were emersed in the ideas, themes, customs, practices, and values of ancient civilizations and through multiple perspectives were able to share how many things we do today are a rebirth of the past. We were grateful to have parents come in and experience the progress and authentic leanring with our students had. Enjoy!
