G5 Visits the Shanghai Museum
Last week, our Grade 5 students visited the Shanghai Astronomy Museum as part of our Science unit, Earth’s Place in the Universe. Throughout the visit, students explored interactive exhibits about gravity, the solar system, stars, space exploration, astronomy in China, and the patterns we observe in the sky. The experience helped students make real-world connections to the NGSS standards. Students participated in observation activities, completed a museum scavenger hunt, and reflected on how humans study and explore space. The field trip was an exciting opportunity to spark curiosity and deepen students’ understanding of our place in the universe.
