Per the official notice from the Shanghai Municipal Government, a flight restriction is in place for drones during the China International Import Expo (CIIE) period:

• From November 3–10, 2026, unauthorized flight of civilian drones and other low-altitude, slow-speed, and small aircraft is strictly prohibited.

This is a city-wide public safety measure implemented by the Shanghai Public Security Bureau.
