Concordia Shanghai

Spring Break Health & Travel Declaration

The Shanghai government's "8 Prevention and Control Measures for People Coming and Returning to Shanghai in Winter and Spring" that was published on January 13, 2021 was the active travel policy until March 31, 2021. As of April 2, 2021, the Shanghai government has not communicated an updated policy. Please see the below travel requirements for Concordia families who decide to travel over Spring Break.

Concordia Shanghai's Spring Break is from Saturday, April 3 through Sunday, April 11.

At this time, we encourage our community to stay in Shanghai for Spring Break. If a family is considering travel during Spring Break, please refer to the below requirements:

  • All students and employees should only travel for essential reasons to low-risk areas within mainland China.

  • If any parent or student needs to travel outside of Shanghai, they must notify the school of your health and travel details by filling out this form after you have traveled and before returning to school.

  • Due to recently confirmed COVID-19 cases in Yunnan Province, all travel to or through Yunnan should be avoided at all costs.

Please remember that if the place you traveled to or through becomes a medium or high-risk area, your child will not be able to access campus and must follow the government requirements for quarantine and NAT testing to re-apply for campus access.

Concordia reserves the right to ask parents to take additional precautions to keep our community safe. These may include asking parents to provide a negative nucleic acid test before their children can return to campus.

Please continue to follow strict personal safety practices, observe your health status closely, and truthfully submit the Spring Break travel form and daily student health card information.

Thank you for your cooperation!
