From the Farm, To the Future
Field Trip Fun
What an adventure our Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten students had last week. Our little explorers headed out on an exciting farm field trip, getting up close with the wonderful world of growing things. From touching plants to meeting farm animals the experience beautifully connected to their understanding of how living things grow and deepened their appreciation for the natural world around them.

Parent Connect
A heartfelt thank you to all the families who joined us for our Parent Connect session on Early Literacy! It was a wonderful evening of learning, sharing, and connecting around something we all care deeply about, giving our children the strongest possible start. We hope you left feeling inspired and equipped with ideas to weave into your everyday life at home. Missed the session? Not to worry as the presentation slides are available for you to review at your own pace.
No School This Friday & Monday
Just a friendly reminder that there will be no school for students this Friday and Monday. We hope every family enjoys a wonderful, well-deserved long weekend filled with rest, fun, and quality time together. We look forward to welcoming everyone back bright and refreshed on Tuesday!
Parent Tip of the Week
Over the past few weeks, we’ve explored how gentleness grows through connection, respectful relationships, and shared problem-solving. This week, we focus on another Positive Discipline tool: curiosity questions. Instead of quickly correcting or solving a problem for children, curiosity questions invite them to reflect, think, and participate in finding solutions. This helps children feel respected and capable, which supports gentler interactions with others.
For example, instead of “Be careful! You made a mess,” you might ask, “What happened here?” or “What do we need to do to fix it?” Instead of “Stop grabbing,” you could say, “How can you let your friend know you want a turn?” Curiosity questions shift children from reacting to thinking. Over time, they help children build empathy, responsibility, and self-control.
Try this at home:
Pause before correcting
ask simple, calm questions
invite your child into problem-solving
Gentleness grows when children feel safe to think, try, and learn, not just be told what to do.
