Winter Bedtimes - VERY Important to EC Student Success

Everyone loves a soft, warm, cozy blanket on a cool fall morning. It can be a little harder to roll out of bed willingly as the mornings become darker and fall is upon us. This is especially true for our little ones.

However, getting up early and feeling rested most importantly depends on our bedtime the night before. Now is the time to make sure your EC student is getting to bed early every night. Children aged birth to five require 10-13 hours of sleep in a 24 hour period, according to the CDC guidelines (this includes nap time). It is highly recommended that your EC student be in bed by 8:00 pm each night, in order for them to wake up rested at 7:00 am.

You will a better chance at experiencing happy mornings, with an early bedtime.
