Teachers Celebrate Ongoing Reading Success in the EC Division at Concordia

During the days of Distance Learning, any teacher might be concerned about a student's ongoing learning and development of reading skills. However, many of our Concordia students have continued to flourish from home, during Distance Learning. The Concordia Teachers continue to meet regularly to read with students, provide assignments which develop the planned reading objectives, and offer quality online resources. Some of our community's favorites are Tumblebooks, PebbleGo, and RAZKids. We are proud of the dedication of our teachers to continue to inspire, develop and motivate our young readers.

However, in the EC Division at Concordia, we know we cannot meet learner goals without our amazing Parent Partners! We believe that we have the best Parent Partners in all of Shanghai! Our parents help our students log onto websites, upload competed work into Seesaw, and read in person books with their children each and every week. When parents support a child to complete the teacher's assignments, it reinforces the learning expectations and is a catalyst to growth.

THINKING ABOUT WHAT HAPPENS NEXT IN THE STORY

Thank you Concordia Teachers, Students, and Parents for your commitment and partnership to further the development of learning and skills during Distance Learning. We are in it, to win it! Keep up the great work, partnership, and care.

At Concordia, we believe every child is a gift from God. We want to see every child THRIVE up to the very last day of this school year and beyond!
