Phoenix Shop

On a walk around the Jinqiao neighborhood, where Concordia International School Shanghai is located, you will discover a wardrobe of Concordia gear informally on display. From umbrellas to T-shirts and hooded-sweatshirts, Concordia’s spirit-wear delights students and parents alike.

Organized in 2006 by five Concordia parents to promote Concordia’s Phoenix mascot, the volunteer-run Phoenix Shop promotes school spirit through its products. The Phoenix Shop involves parent volunteers in staffing the shop during lunch time each day and after school three days a week. All parents are a great help and parents who speak Chinese, Korean or other languages are an important component in our diverse community. In addition to the regular Phoenix Shop hours, spirit ware can sometimes be found for sale on-site at sports games at the portable cart.
