Summer 2023 GOA Courses

Concordia International School Shanghai is excited to offer summer courses through Global Online Academy (GOA), connecting students to subjects to explore, develop and pursue their passions.  GOA’s high-quality, passion-focused online courses are available through Concordia at a discounted cost.

Online learning at GOA is not about video watching and quiz taking.  Learning is about relevant, hands-on ideas and coursework.  Students log in multiple times a week to join discussions, work together on projects, and design their own ways to show their learning.

Summer courses through GOA are offered over two terms and are led by expert teachers who are committed to engaging students in rigorous work that deepens understanding and builds skills that matter in school and in life.  Students can study with peers from many different schools and share a passion for the subject.

• GOA offers 27 summer courses in 2023 and 14 are available for credit on the Concordia transcript
• 10-12 hour per week commitment
• Concordia students (rising 10th, 11th, & 12th grade for 23-24) may receive elective credit on their high school transcript for select courses
