MS Visual Arts

Middle School Visual Arts

Each semester Grade 5 and 6 students are required to take an exploratory course in visual arts. They look at specific genres of art and artists from historical periods and develop works and projects designed to represent an expression of that period. Grade 7 and 8 students have the opportunity for further artistic growth and development through elective semester courses. Formal art exhibitions are held at the end of the each semester. Courses are held in the Rittmann Center for the Fine Arts studios, the Clay Studio and the Technology Center.
