Virtual Conference Inspires Climate Change Action

A small group of globally-conscious Concordians participated in a 2-day virtual conference at the end of September. Hosted by Dulwich College in Pudong, the One Voice event focused on climate change and mental health, and featured some incredible keynote speakers and panelists. William KamKwamba, author of The Boy Who Harnessed The Wind, spoke to students on the first day of the conference.

The Concordia team came away from the event excited about a proposal to reduce food waste on campus (as food waste is a major contributor to climate change) and a campaign to promote mental health and wellbeing for high school students.
