Concordia fields 27 High School teams and 14 Middle Schools teams.
The Concordia Phoenix Swim Club is a parent-run organization that was formed to support children in the Concordia Community who are regular swimmers and want the opportunity to participate in organized swim meets. It is open to ages ranging from Elementary through High School, but swimmers should be at a competitive level before they get involved. This is NOT a learn-to-swim program. Swimmers should already know free-style, as well as the back-stroke and breast-stroke sufficiently. Knowing the butterfly is preferred, but not required. Additionally, students should be able to execute the dolphin kick.
The Club works closely with the school but is organized and operated by parent volunteers. Participation involves supplemental fees. The Club provides support for entering swim meets and organizes adult volunteers during swim meets. Swimmers in this program should participate with the intent to compete in swim meets. Also, it is expected that swimmers be in regular training with a coach. See below information for practices.
The main objective for The Concordia Phoenix Swim Club is to support students (who are trained swimmers) in the Concordia Community through providing the opportunity to participate and represent Concordia in organized swim meets. In order to represent The Concordia Phoenix Swim Club in said meets, registration is required.
There are a small number of swimming practice clubs available in the JinQiao area. You may choose any swim practice club that meets your needs. Currently, many of our swimmers are practicing at the Ambassy Club of Green Villas with Elaine Swim Club or Multi-Sports. For younger swimmers, Multi-sport might be a more suitable choice.

Additionally, we offer a second program; however, this program is strictly for Concordia High School students. The APAC Swim Team offers a 10-week season for training and competition. At season's end, the swim team competes at the APAC meet.
Relocating to Shanghai doesn’t have to mean shelving all those years of Little League practices or gymnastics training. Over time, many reputable activity/fitness organizations have begun with the expat family in mind. In addition to the excellent athletic programs offered by Concordia, organizations like those listed below will help keep your students active, healthy and happy!
