Finale: Strings Concert!

On Thursday 16 May, we hosted the final of three Spring music concerts. Our G5-8 Strings band gave a room filled with proud parents and community members a delightful musical treat. Students were poised and played their instruments with skill and confidence. We are proud of the learning and growth our students experienced over the past months.

Fun fact: The strings are played most often by drawing a bow across them. Sometimes the musicians will use their fingers to pluck the strings, The strings are the largest family of instruments in the orchestra, and they come in four sizes: the violin, which is the smallest, viola, cello, and the biggest, the double bass.

That brings us to the end of a beautiful musical season.Cheers!
