The Elementary School administration uses a variety of information to make informed classroom placement decisions. Forming heterogeneous learning groups is important in elementary classrooms, and we take this responsibility seriously.
Teachers, counselors, student support staff, and principals are all involved in the placement process. Much time and effort is given to the placement of students.
Parents will have an opportunity to express their confidential concerns that may assist in the work to form balanced classrooms of learners. Although not required, parents who wish to provide input will be able to submit their concerns via the survey.
All parents will receive an email that includes more specific details and a link to the placement survey.
