Classroom Support

On a stroll through the school on any given day, you will encounter volunteer parents helping out in classrooms in a variety of ways. In middle school, a parent may have signed up to come in every week at the same time and grade math papers. In the lower school, a parent may be reading a book to the class or listening to students read their own published works. Other parents provide chaperoning support during one of the many field trips during the year. Oh, and for those who love the drama, there are three major productions each year in Middle and High school, and parents can participate from building the set to helping with the costumes and make-up. Whatever you bring to the table in experience and passion will be gladly received by the many teachers that your student will encounter.
