Transformers
- Do not bring TVs, DVD players, stereos, extension cords, and other small electronic items. Some electronics will work with a transformer, but need to be compatible with things you’re hooking them up with.
- Computers, printers, electronics that say 110/220V, 50/60 MHz on the plug are good (most newer ones are fine).
- You might want to buy a couple of higher voltage (2000 Watt) transformers for the large kitchen items you may choose to bring over (mixer, food processor). You can buy one here but it might be a little more expensive. If you are tight on your weight allotment, buy it here because they tend to be heavy.
- Some lamps work here but you must buy light bulbs locally.
