What’s the B2SB? The PSO Back to School Bash is on a Saturday in late August each year and is a great time to catch up with old friends after a long summer away and make new friends for the year ahead while learning about local offerings from Scouts and expat support to healthcare services and local restaurants. The event is organized and run by parent volunteers with more than 50 vendors coming to showcase their services and products available right in Shanghai. The entire community of Concordia families, students and faculty come together to eat, play, and learn about each other and what’s available in the neighborhood and the broader Shanghai area. The kids have a ball with the face painting and bouncy castles, the teens hang-out or maybe try their luck with the balloon toss, and the parents get their questions answered all in one place. It’s a great way to plug in for the exciting year ahead whatever your interests.
