Ron Mona

Ron Mona

Assistant Director of Admissions

Ron has been in Shanghai since 2008. He is happily married to his wife Ally and is father to three beautiful daughters. If you ask him where home is, he will tell you that Shanghai is home. His life abroad started in 2004, where he spent a year studying in Austria and China with his University’s Capital Studies Program. Since graduating from Point Loma Nazarene University with a Bachelors in Political Science, Ron has pursued his passion in serving people and making an impact during his time in Shanghai. When he is not at work you'll most likely find him either at home with his family and friends, doing Crossfit, at church serving or working on pursuing his Masters in Interdisciplinary Studies from SUNY Buffalo. He is constantly learning something new everyday, whether from TED.com or any number of podcasts. Drop by and say hi anytime.

Vina, a Shanghai native, graduated from Beijing International Studies University with a B.A. degree in law. Vina joined Concordia's admissions department upon her return to Shanghai in the summer of 2009.

Vivi, a Shanghai native, graduated from Science and Technology University of Shanghai. Before coming to Concordia in 2015, she worked as a teacher assistant in Gymboree for one year. She loves kids and school, always be willing to help others.

Cecilia Zhao

Originally coming from Inner Mongolia of China, Cecilia graduated from Purdue University in United States, majoring in Hospitality and Tourism Management, and started her blessing career journey with Concordia as an admission secretary since May of 2016. Before joining Concordia, she worked with Marriott Hotels Group for two years as an operation management trainee. Cecilia loves to bring great school cultures of Concordia to families with her passionate communications and to offer effective supports to colleagues in all school divisions with her modest spirit of serving. Cecilia enjoys spending fun time in making friends with people coming from different culture backgrounds, in exploring new places and activities keep coming up in this amazing city and spending alone time in inspired readings and outdoor running. She is always curious and prepared to adventure the world more.
