Laptop Program Vision

Information Literacy and Technology Literacy are essential for success in society. An internet-connected laptop, along with dedicated instruction and supervision, can open up a whole new world of learning and expression for a student. Thus, Concordia requires each student in Grade 7 through 12 to have an Apple laptop computer for use on a daily basis. Concordia uses Apple laptops instead of Windows laptops for a variety of reasons: the software applications on Apple computers are more integrated and easier to use; Apple computers excel at multimedia; and Apple computers are easier to manage from an organizational perspective.
