In the Middle School, we provide students a forum to examine and articulate the idea of spiritual identity by exploring the meaning of life and subsequent connections to God, other people and the world. By providing venues for discussion and mutual understanding, our students become more self-aware, develop a positive self-identity and the motivation to be a positive force in our global community. Through religious instruction at this level, our teachers foster a supportive and respectful atmosphere to engage students in conversation about spiritual and religious concepts. We insist students cultivate a respect for all persons regardless of race, creed or religion and fostering a basic knowledge of all world religions is a powerful tool in building a bridge toward understanding, mutual respect and acceptance.
