Concordia’s Social Sciences program focuses on preparing creative, aware students capable of making reflective decisions and participating successfully in the civil life of their communities, nation and the world. Students are able to express oral and written decisions based on higher level thinking skills. An interdisciplinary, global and conceptual approach to the social sciences is used to achieve these ends while also meeting the needs of American studies for our American students or for students intending to study in the U.S. through a study of American history.
